Sunday 25 April – A Messy Church Day
Our service this Sunday will be a bit different!
A chance to be together and try to create something together. You can contribute in many ways. By offering suggestions and ideas, by using your craft skills, by helping to develop ideas, by encouraging each other or just chatting!
Most of our time will be in the sports hall working on our creations. After a short service in the church, and when we have our finished our creations we will have lunch together. If you would like to stay on for a picnic lunch then do bring your sandwiches, cakes, fruit and crisps to eat in the field or in the sports hall. Tea and coffee will be provided. Suitable for all ages.
Be prepared for something ”messy” a bit creative and fun! If you have any empty egg cartons or cereal packets please bring them too!

Josatina Thank You
Josatina would like to thank everyone who baked, served drinks, baked cakes, took money, paid money, paid extra money, made pledges, used Pledge on the piano, moved the piano, ate cakes, bought drinks, arranged for a float, told their friends, operated the lights, turned the heating on, disregarded any musical training they may have had, worked the AV, produced extra material for the AV, and came out on a dark night when there was actually quite good stuff on the telly and didn’t fall asleep during the concert, and generally endured such a good time. And didn’t heckle either.
Agony Aunt Anna Raeburn is on record as saying that having counselled many disturbed people over many years, what would tip her over the edge would be to sit in a darkened room and have to listen to classical music. No-one drifted off to the prayer area at the end of the concert so we think we got away with it.
We are pleased that over £400 was raised which will be sent to Haiti via Tear Fund.
