We are sure there are a number of you with questions about what happens now that Bill and Tricia have left us. Please be assured that the Leadership are making plans to move us forward, these plans will be shared with everyone, and there will be an opportunity for you to be involved in various activities that will be announced shortly.

We will, as promised, give an update at the Church Members Meeting 9 September.  In the meantime, if you have any concerns, please speak with one of the Leadership team.

Be encouraged we are following the guidelines laid down by the London Baptist Association, who have a vast amount of experience that we can call upon.”

A course of training has been arranged at WBC, for all of us who are involved in any roll in working with our children and young people. It also includes those of us that are involved in the making of decisions that affects that work.

It is some while since we arranged the last course and this will gives us a chance to refresh our minds on some of the practical and important aspects of our work with some of the latest news on ‘best practice’ and insights as to our ‘duty of care’ towards our young people

Training on this important subject, is a must for those of us involved in working with our young people and I hope that as many as possible can make the morning.

The trainer is very well qualified and experienced in leading our group and knows of the pressure of family life so we aim to conclude promptly at 12:30.

Tea and coffee along with biscuits will be available from 08:45 and if you are early enough perhaps some ‘bacon butties’.

Heavenly Father, we ask You to bless Christian and other initiatives reaching out to the millions of refuges worldwide who desperately need food, shelter, medical care, education and employments.  Please raise up volunteers and donors who will provide resources to do this.  Amen.
